Farragut State Park, North Idaho, High Point Trail
The kids were excited to go looking for treasures and Mom and I were excited to get out of the house and into the woods! What we discovered is that this trail has a lot more large rocks on the trail path that caused the chair to bottom out on several times.
So we chose to turn around and try the path to the visitors center for a rest, but the trail isn’t well marked so we couldn’t find it. We decided to head back to the car, which was good because I ended up getting paralyzed as soon as we got back to the car. The heat, even though I was wearing my cooling vest, and activity was too much for me to handle.
We I got my medicine, and my wife packed up the chair and kids. We stopped at the visitors center to use the bathroom and allow the kids to have a picnic. Overall it was great to get out of the house and have some fun with the kids. Until next time…

Back in March I was made aware of discounted whole genome sequencing (WGS) from Dante Labs as part of an agreement with a periodic paralysis genetics support group I am a member of on Facebook. I sent in my sample and have been waiting since then to get the results. ...read more
